STUDENT CANNOT BE BARRED TO TAKE BOARD EXAM ON THE GROUND OF NON PAYMENT OF FEE: DEHI HIGH COURT The Delhi High Court held that barring a student from taking the board exams is violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India. The Court held that class X and XII are crucial junctures in the educational life of a person and the child’s future cannot be tarnished. The court further held that a private unaided school cannot be compelled to continue giving education to a child who is unable to pay the fees, if he has taken admission from the general quota.
