A plea before the Delhi High Court by a couple belonging to the LGBTQIA+ community seeking accommodation in a safe house after they were assaulted by family members, was withdrawn on Monday. While disposing of the petition, the High Court observed that once there is no threat perception, the petitioners shall then shift to their own accommodation.
