CANNOT TAKE FOOD INSIDE CINEMA HALLS: SUPREME COURT OF INDIA The Supreme Court of India panel led by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice PS Narasimha ruled that a theatre operator could forbid patrons from bringing their own food and drinks inside theatres. The bench underlined, however, that all movie theatres must offer free access to sanitary drinking water to all patrons. Additionally, it was mentioned that parents may bring a suitable amount of food for their children or infants with them to the movies. “The basic premise is that cinema has a right to reserve admission. The cinema owners have a right to sell their own food and beverages” We at Reddy and Reddy distinguish out for providing individualised legal services while upholding the highest ethical and professional standards, and for providing excellent legal counsel and assistance in a range of practise areas.
