WhatsApp’s new Privacy Policy has been challenged by a Writ Petition in the High Court of Delhi, on the grounds that it is “Violative of citizens’ Right to Privacy and threatening to the National Security of India.” The Petition was filed by Advocate Chaitanya Rohilla on 14th January 2021, he noted in his plea that, “the updated Policy gives the Company virtually a 360-degree profile into a person's online activity”.
