THREE PEOPLE FROM HARYANA ARRESTED IN THE CLUBHOUSE APP CHAT CASE: MUMBAI POLICE The clubhouse app which has gained popularity in recent times is well known as a place to listen to fascinating conversations, talk with people and exchange ideas. However, cases of obscene comments and derogatory remarks are emerging day by day from this app. In such a similar case a Mumbai based organization had lodged a complaint with Mumbai Police on 19/01/2022 in connection with the clubhouse app chats, in which obscene comments were allegedly made against Muslim women. The organization demanded deactivation and registration of case, this incident took place between October and November 2021 wherein images of two women were circulated on the app and derogatory and objectionable remarks were made upon them. Mumbai Police tracked down the three accused with the help of the cyber cell and have arrested them from Haryana.
