Supreme Court says court cannot look into day-to-day affairs of temple Chief Justice of India NV Ramana stated that a Constitutional Court cannot look into day-to-day affairs of a temple. The court stated this while disposing of the plea filed by a devotee Venkateshwara Swamy of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam against the dismissal of his writ petition by Andhra Pradesh High Court alleging certain irregularities in conducting pooja at the temple. The Supreme Court said that Apart from pooja if the administration is ignoring rules and regulations or indulging in any other violation of arrangements only then can the court ask Devasthanam to clarify the issues raised by the people. Other than this if the Court interfers in sevas then it will not be feasible. The legal experts at Reddy and Reddy law firm specialise in handling various matters.
