Suo Motu Cognizance of Delhi Women Commission on ‘bois locker room’ matter: The chairman of Delhi Commission for women Smt. Swati Maliwal on 04.05.2020 has taken suo motu cognizance of reports regarding an Instagram group called as ‘Bois Locker Room’ comprises around 100 members which shares objectionable pictures of minor girls and young women along with their personal information. The reported group members in the group chat discussed techniques of raping women and gang raping minor along with other illegal acts and comments. The Commission has received several screenshots of the group which clearly showcase the Instagram account handle and username. The Commission realizing the gravity of the matter has initiated inquiry and asked Delhi police to submit for copy of FIR, details of the accused identified and arrested along with detail report of action taken.
