Notice issued to CARA on plea by Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) for child adoption In the light of the writ petition filed by the an overseas(OCI) couple, the Delhi High Court issued notice to Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), to file its reply within two weeks in this matter. The couple in their petition have mentioned that despite having registered with CARA for adoption of a child in 2018, they have not received any referral till date; whereas applicants who registered subsequently have already received referrals.
