The Delhi Commission for Women has taken suo motu cognizance of the incident when Safoora Zagar faced massive criticism on Twitter by the people questioning the legitimacy of her pregnancy and marriage. Questions were also being raised on her virtue and modesty. Taking cognizance of the same DCW asked Delhi police the measures taken to remove the posts outraging her modesty from social media.
