BAIL GRANTED TO A MAN ACCUSED OF SELLING SUGARCANE JUICE ADULTERATED WITH BEEF: ALLAHABAD HIGH COURT Single Judge Bench of Justice Deepak Verma of Allahabad High Court recently granted bail to a man, who was arrested on the allegations of selling sugarcane juice adulterated with beef in the case of Fuzail vs State of UP. He was released on furnishing a personal bond and tea securities of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned trial court. The said man was accused of adulterating the juice with beef in Bareilly district. He was charged under Sections 323 (causing hurt), 504 (attempt to break public peace) and 295-A (outraging religious sentiments) of the IPC. In his defense, Fuzail highlighted the fact that there has been no forensic test of the juice from his shop and, thus, he should be granted bail. The Court having considered the contentions granted him bail, subject to the conditions that he will not tamper the witnesses or evidence and will cooperate with the probe and trial.
