Advocates gain repute only by being prepared and arguing well! The Supreme Court Justices D. Y. Chandrachud and M. R. Shah remarked that advocates don’t gain reputation based on who they are related to, but by being prepared and arguing well. They were poised to proceed with the hearing of a matter but the junior counsel sought adjournment stating that senior advocate was engaged in another court.
